Carrot Comfort Ice Smoothie

A refreshing carrot, banana and pineapple smoothie with ginger, turmeric, lemon and almond milk. Use frozen fruit for an icy texture.

Carrot Comfort Ice Smoothie

What you’ll need

  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring tablespoon
  • Measuring teaspoon
  • Juicer, if making fresh carrot juice
  • Blender or smoothie maker
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Kitchen scales

Before you start

Ingredients

Tick off ingredients as you go.

  • Half a cup of Carrot Juice
  • 1 chopped frozen banana
  • 100g Frozen/Fresh Pineapple
  • 1 large tbsp fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp of ground turmeric
  • Half of a fresh lemon
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

How to make it

Allow 5–6 minutes if the carrot juice is ready, or about 10 minutes if you need to juice the carrots.

  1. Prepare the fruit

    Chop the banana and pineapple into small chunks. Place all the ingredients in the blender.

  2. Blend and serve

    Blend until the chunks are fully blended, then serve.
